Abstract

The aim of this project is to design, develop and implement a facility management system for students dormitory of Erasmus students .This Project can be used for dormitories in Poland and all over the world .It will be a useful tool for the dormitories owners -for the Erasmus coordinators and generally can improve the living conditions of the students in the dormitories and especially the Erasmus students that come across with a new way of life. Moreover this project aims to decongest the existing system and the computerization of the dormitories data. The project is a topical application which is installed on each computer. They are some advantages and disadvantages about this. The main advantage is that it is hard for strangers and/or hackers to steal your valuable information. On the other hand the main disadvantage is that your data can be lost if your computer is crashed. For this reason we have to store our information in another place (external disk second computer).When we install the program STUDENT DORMITORY MANAGER we must also install the database on our computer. Understandably this process is done by qualified personnel. My wish is that my project will be a useful tool for all the dormitories and especially for dormitories which host Erasmus students.
